TC-SUPPORTERS
TC-SUPPORTERS: Testicular Supporters List
TC-SUPPORTERS is an ACOR List, part of a large family of Oncology lists.
The TC-SUPPORTERS list is designed to address the unique issues facing
the people providing support to Testicular Cancer patients. Guys with
Testicular Cancer can run the gamut of emotions from being very open
about their disease to almost total shut down and ignorance. Add in
your concerns about fertility, cancer, sexuality, being alone, etc.
It's no surprise that supporters may need their support group!

TC-SUPPORTERS is primarily made of everyday people who have either
supported testicular cancer patients or are in the process of doing
it right now. There are some survivors lurking around as well. This
mildly moderated discussion is overseen by Doug Bank of the Testicular

PED-ONC is an unmoderated discussion list for parents, sibblings, friends,
and survivors of Chilhood/Adolescent Cancer.

This discussion group provides an opportunity for parents and family
members of childhood/adolescent cancer survivors to share ideas,
information and support.

Parents, siblings and survivors of childhood/adolescent cancer face unique challenges.
The effects and consequences of a life threatening illness on family, siblings and
marriage are many. Some parents may find that these concerns do not abate post-treatment.
Parents and survivors may face social challenges (school, insurance and eventually
employment), some will have emotional challenges (depression and anxiety post
treatment), and some parents will be concerned about late effects and ongoing health
problems related to treatment.
